I am looking to buy a '95 Cobra w/ the 5.0 and a 5 spd. The onl;y problems are that the odometer clocks in at 265000 mi, it has a rebuilt title, adn the guy wants 5500.00 for it. What are these cars booking for now? It is black on black w/ a set of '01 chrome cobra wheels on. The doors dont' sag any at all and it still has the original pins. The interior is still in perfect condition. None of this matches up for the car to supposedly have 265000 mi. Is the price right for the car? I know the value of a mustang, which is why I am asking about the price. It seems a little high for it to have a rebuilt title. BTW I have seen the car before and after the rebuild.

That's a lot of miles for sure. Maybe you could post the VIN and somebody can do some more research on it. The location of the car could have an impact on the price. What part of the country is this car located?

I'd say no, way too many miles. Unless the engine has been rebuilt and he'll go down at least a 1000. Its probably gonna eat up money when things start to go wrong, which they will with that many miles plus the fact its been in a wreck. I got my 96 cobra for 7500 with 80k, with salvage and ended up putting about 1000 into it to fix airbags(cause ford doens't know how to fix things the first time) But its your call. If you really want it then go for it
