But when you hit a bump really hard, will the wheel/tire have sufficient clearance? Looking great man! My hats off to you.

yeah it sure will...The wheel will hit the fender lip first, and it dosent..i took alot of time figuring where to run that pipe....believe it or not, there is really no other place to run a pipe from the bottom of the car to the engine bay.

That is why I had asked in an early post about a Tubular K Member. If you install one, you will have plenty of room to run your pipe ESPECIALLY with a 5.0 as opposed to a 4.6.

yeah, no way im getting a k-member unless i have to. It was MUCH easier to just make a bend up into the fender. I go for the cheapest way to do things, same as the seat delete....no way im gonna pay some guy ~100 dollars when i can do it just fine myself!

Ok, those blue tubes i posted, that tube runs from the intercooler over the driver's fender and under, where i will be making a T from the twins into it. Right now im waiting for some J-bends for that section, there comming next week sometime, so there wont be a huge ton of progress for a while, just ods and ends, im gonna get it ready so all i have to do pipe that in and its ready.

As far as how fast it is, i really havent been working on it ALL that much, i work a 40 hour week. i mean with not having to F with the engine bay wiring, piping, and headers its pretty damn easy....i just sorta inturrupted the exhaust where it normally goes lol. Also if i wasent waiting on random parts it would have been done allready!

anyhow, a little issue ....it seems my tilton diff oil pump is too fast....it pumps but cycles....like load/no load in about 2 sec increments.....and its really loud....its louder than the car at idle by alot. Now, can anyone tell me how to properly slow down a dc motor...it draws ~5 amps,.....I know you must reduce voltage, however ill be damned if i cant think of an easy way to do it....i tried a 120v ac fan dimmer switch but it does nothing, the motor wouldent turn...i went to radio shack and got a rehostat and the pump draws too much and smoaked it! Any help would be great.

Eaither that, or i will have to re-locate it to where my rear seat was and put some sound insulation in there...any ideas?
You could try a step down tranformer for Radio Shack? The BIG pot. will work but be on the safe side.. Say you pump draw 5 amps at start and say 2 amp running under load, use a larger Pot them you need, 10 amp would be fine. You are doing a great job by the way. For all the people taking on here you did it... CONGRATS! :nice:

if your tryin 2 slow down the oil pump you need 2 lower the voltage not the amps....get a resistor or a pot and put inline on ur positive wire should be able 2 turn the voltage up and down....making the motor go faster and slower...hope this helps.......and we wanna c more pics and some videos when you get this thing done

right. voltage not amps. :nice:

Whell guys, i finally got my j-bends, and my 2 airfilters.....so, it WILL be done soon, i diden't get anything done yesterday due to searching the Junkyard for an electric fan for my bronco, and playing paintball. I also start night school this week, so it may be slow, but dammit i wanna ge it done.
Whats left:
-Install my CC plates, and button up the front end (put the inner fenders in)
-Install my 42lb Injectors
Finish my Boost side 2-1 merge under the car
Mount my airfilters, finish the piping to the intake of the turbo, the pipes are up through the floor.

Thats not much lol....Sooo soon!
