My 02 Gt is tuned to take a min of 91 octane. I dont know wtf is going on in our area but every gas station i have been to (10 so far) is out of 89 and 93 octanes. All they have is 87. :notnice: Hopefully this is a temporary thing, but incase it takes a while to re supply, if I put in 87 and then dump in a bottle of octane boost, would that be a good substitute for 93 octane? Will the overall octane of that tank be bumped up to at least 91 octane? Thanks.

No, octane boost is garbage. Remove the tune until you can get the proper gas. Do you live in the south? Heat is going to be a major factor for your decision...

yup, live in texas. damn, i was hoping there was another way around it instead of putting back the stock tune. It just got cool yesterday and my car was running great. I hope this gas thing doesnt last very long.

I can't even find 93 octane, just 91 octane. I don't want to take any chances of blowing up so I add NOS octane booster at almost every fill up. It'd be nice if 93 octane would start showing up again where I live.
