hazze4ya said:i havent finished adding parts yet so im holding off on the tune and just bought a diablo to hold me over,it runs alot better but a light rasp is noticed during takeoff,if i do it again i would get a pipe with high flow cats but one with only 2 of them,my other half says it smells a little in the drivethrough,6 cats is retarded to put on a car it chokes them,in my opinion get a x pipe with 2 high flows and you will like it alot.

not true at all. my 98 GT is a "Federal" emissions car. meaning that it was not originally sold in CA and it has 6 cats. the 96-98 GTs had 6 cats. the first 2 are precats and the last 4 are the real cats. and yes it is a federal felony to remove catalytic converters on any car in any state.helty said:i think all stock h-pipes have 4 cats, with the exception of the ones that were delivered to cali. CA smog laws require 6 cats. there are no resonators on them.
