Okay, I know TAKE IT TO THE TRACK. I have had my license suspended for 3 years for driving recklessly and riding wheelies on my motorcycle. Well I got rid of the bike, and kept my 92 Mustang GT when this happened. So I figured this was a ****ty thing, but a good oppurtunity to upgrade my mustang to where I wanted it to be.
I planned my car out to be more of a track car, and started going "window shopping." Now I got a road and track suspension kit from maximum motorsports, The Baer Claw kit for 4 wheel disc brakes, a t56 tranny, and moser 31 spline axles with 3.55 gears.
For the engine I wanted it to be capable of high rpms for plans of a twin turbo setup. I got a super pro bullett 331 long block from DSS with AFR 205s and had the Hi-Rev upgrade installed. The pistins are 8.5:1 compression. It has a main girdle support and a windage tray. I am running a trick flow r series intake a 90mm throttle body and maf. A hellion twin turbo kit with 72mm turbos and a intercooler. The boost on the turbo is at 14 psi, and the engine and turbos are capable of more, but I am leaving it there for the time being.
Now, for the reason I haven't taken it to the track yet is because I finished it and got my license at about the same time, but now the track is closed, and it started snowing her last night so I don't even get a chance to drive to break the engine in. Now to see anything I have to wait til spring. But I am curious to see what stangnet thinks this will run.
