Whats the most power anyone ever got out of a h/c/i setup? stock bottom.

Stock bottom end would mean the shortblock was last put togeather at the Ford plant XX years ago... right?

I cold imagine you could get into the 300's N/A but any more is going to take RPM that is eventually going to kill the stock bottom end. Poweradder, well I have seen plenty of people hit a 200shot on the stock shortblock with no issues.

Some have gotten pretty high...in the higher 300 horsepower range. That was usually without multiple accessories and other tricks here and there. Not the most streetable engines...but they did get some power out of them.

Pretty sure the 432hp one was a DSS 306.

I'm shooting for about 350 whp after I put in the TFS 1 cam and port my RPM lower intake (Extrude Hone). I've got ported TW heads on it now, just need a more suitable cam and intake. Unfortunately my car will be sitting for a while until I get my intake back... Also, for max effort N/A, get L/T headers and minimize your accessory losses. I've got alum. U/D pulleys, A/C delete, and an electric fan.

I'm sorry to be a dick, but I don't see 350rwhp coming from this combination, unless it's a stroker. If you do make that kind of power, you will be the first that I've seen. I'm going to guess with a good tune and depending on the quality of the port work done to the heads, you'd be around 310 to the wheels.

Good luck,

Chris
