whats up guys. i tried searching a couple different times and havent really found what i'm lookin for. i'm slowly tryin to gather everything for my 93 to swap it back to EFI and currently trying to find the main harness, injector, and o2 harnesses. my question is what year harness do i need or is it strictly 93? also are the injector and 02 harnesses the same 86-93? thanks

There are some minor variations in the wiring harnesses.

For example my 90GT actually has a 91 harness. So far as I could tell the pin locations are the same but a few of the wire colors changed. I think it was the ACT that gave me trouble.

A Chiltons should get you going in the right direction.

The 93 harness is unique to 93 model cars. The fuel relay us under the hood and part of the main harness. You will need one from a 93 model car.

I have an o2 harness and injector harness...they're the same from 87-93.

Lemme know if you want them...I can email you some pics.

I have been under the impression that any of these harnesses could be re-pinned to any ecu.
If this is the case then any harness could be made to work.

If you don't want to mess with moving wires in the harness, then buying a harness specific to your ecu is the best bet.

Is there any reason not to repin the harness?

The 89 Harness is a non airbag harness. Different plugs at the cowl by the ecu test port. Also the afore mentioned addition of the fuel pump relay to the main harness on the 93. 90 Models are different also and require moving some plugs to make work. 91 and 92's are pretty much interchangeable.

Repinning the harness is a pain..and if you get one in the wrong place...you're looking for a new ecu.

Hope this helps.

Copied From bbunt302

Just for reference, here's a list of all the compatible years:

89 harness should work for 86-89 as long as you're using mass air.
90 harness will only work in a 90. (B/c of air bags and dual dash connectors)
91 through early 92 harnesses should be compatible (single dash connector, fuel pump relay under driver's seat)
Late 92 through 93 harnesses should be compatible (single dash connector, fuel pump relay under the hood)

Computers from 89-92 are all the same. Look for the A9L sticker on the back cover for a 5 speed that matches your requirements. Example: E9ZF 12A650 AA" with the A9L code.
