That sucks, but do ya think it might have something to do with launching with M/T Et Streets on the rev limiter 100+ times with the stock axle?

:D  :rlaugh:

Nah, I bought 31 Spline moser axles and a Detroit True trac diff, and something in its not right. Lou put it all together for me at Accurate and either the axle on the right side is too long, or the center pin on the diff is in the wrong place. All I know is I spent a bunch of money to get my rear end fixed and all it got me was a fried brake caliper. I think Im never buying another part that doesnt say Ford Racing on it after this experience.

Might I suggest going to DTS??? They built my buddys rear with 31's and took an explorer carrier and stacked it so tight that it is damn near a spool. They do awesome work. Thats who will do my rear.

Congrats and my regrets at the samer time. :rlaugh: J/K Hey, Gotta go where the dough is.

Like I said before, Don't listen to those other clowns. You shouldn't have to shim a thing. Something isn't right.

I go down to ATL on Sunday for good this time. It's supposed to be close to 100 degrees down there on Sunday.

:jaw: WOW that was quick.

What do you think the chances are that you'll be at Woodward this year?

I didn't recognize any names on the list of people who have already registered other than myself. :D

I don't know about the Cruise this year. It's a long drive up just for a couple days. I still may attend though. Maybe I'll come up and just make my cousin drive his Stang this time since he rode with me last year.:rlaugh:

Well Lous the ****, hell figure out whats wrong with it. Its not an assembly issue, its definetly something wrong with one of the parts. We just arent sure which one at the moment. I took the rear end out today and im taking up to his shop tomorrow morning. Hopefully we can fix it, I want to go to fme next week. I still got to get my headers and k member on it.

There's a small shop in Garden City run by a guy named Tom Craft. He carries basically everything in stock and I picked up my Moser's from here along with Eaton Diff last year. Here's his number if you dont' want to wait... 734 762 6050
Address is 31963 Block St. Garden City 48135

Question for the local guys...
I'm looking for a gas station that sells 100% gasoline around the Dearborn area. Most stations around here sell gasoline with 10% ethanol. I want to buy the 100% gas. Thank you.

I thought about this for a while, and I dont really pay much attention to the actual label, but I try to use Sunoco when ever possible. Not only is my uncle a chemist for them, but its american gas! You probably will be hard pressed to find any non-racing petrol that doesnt have at least a little alchohol in it.

Any of you local guys have a Detroit Locker rearend? I'm thinking about upgrading to one but I only have a stocker right now and want to feel the difference and get your opinions. Can anybody give me a quick ride around the street???

I just got the detroit true trac in my car , but I dont have the rear end back in yet. Its been a complete fiasco getting it together. Several sets of axles and wheel studs later, its finally together. If you want to help me put it back in we can go for a ride tomorrow :) I did drive about 10 miles on it before I had to take it back apart and it feels no different then a stocker. It doesnt make any noise or anything.
