That would make a nice blasting pot ,if it isnt rusted inside .

That Lindsay valve is just like mine that is wore out. How much are they? The way the blaster is designed in the illustration is how the big Econoline cabinet's pot works. Sand drops out of the tank/pot into an airstream. Simple but effective.
ADDED: I just checked Big A's Place and the Lindsay valves appear to be unavailable. I might make a block off plate for mine to bolt onto the Lindsay with a 1/2" pipe bung welded to it and plump it like The Econoline and see if it works.

Yeah, my Lindsay has the flat plate with the valve. I may simplify it making a plate with a 1/2" pipe bung attached and plumb it like the Econoline and see if it works. No moving parts. Yesterday I was looking at the Econoline plumbing to copy it. I can take pictures if anyone is interested.
ADDED: I just looked at the drawing in post # 10 and the Econoline cabinet is plumbed that way.
