ever since i got my longtubes on, i cant keep the CEL off. i just had the rear passanger side 02 sensor changed, and it came back on. do i need to disconnect the battery after changing an 02 for the computer to see it? i am running MIL eliminators on the back 02 sensors, and this is what codes i keep getting:

From my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong fellas, is that the MIL eliminators on the S197's are a crapshoot as far as them actually working properly. I've heard most just pickup a tuner and turn the rear O2 sensors off.

This happens sometimes to long tube equiped cars.. this has nothing to do with your mil elims since this code is for upstream sensor on bank one. the mil elims effect the downstream after the cat sensors.

you may want to try wrapping the header to retain as much heat as possible, a lot of times the sensors to not reach the right temprature to work correctly.

What kind of coating do you have on your headers?
