16 inch wheels on GT

i'm just want to know if the stock Ford factory 16 inch wheel from the V6 mustang will fit on a Mustang GT, thanks

do you mean the 05 and up V6 wheel?
I bet they wont clear the front brakes on 05+ cars
and the backspacing will make the spokes hit the caliper on the
94-04 cars.
Their a nice wheel and ford should make them in 17 or 18's

There is a guy on modular fords who is running a 16" 99-04 V6 wheel w/ slicks on the back of this 2005 or 2006, and says he didn't have any clearance issues. The rear brakes are supposed to be the same on the GT/V6 models.

Front brakes are too big to fit anything less then a 17 inch wheel. Just look at the clearance between the caliper and the stock bullitt wheel. There is NONE lol

The 16" 2005 V6 wheels WILL fit the rear of the 2005+ GT's. I use them for my drag radials on my 2005 GT. I never put them on the front to try though. Perhaps I will do a test fit to see, but it won't happen with the temps around -30 degrees Celsius right now.

2001 wheels on 2005

I had 2001 17" Mach 1 wheels on my 2005 GT. They fit. The off set makes the car look wider. I eventually changed them for Shelby Razor rims 18". The car looks much better now.
