how to remove the rear seat?

Okay, On both sides, right where the floor carpet meets the seat, there is a plastic retainer button that needs to be pushed. They are about halfway between the middle of the seat and the edges of the seat. Lift the seat material right where it meets the carpet and you'll see a white plastic "thingy".
There is a rectangular button that you need to push (a screw driver works very well). While pushing the button, lift the seat on that side. Do the same on the other side and voila!

yea, it is pretty easy. first time its a bit tiugh though. just poke a flat head screw driver around under the seat untill you hit something. then push it in with the screw driver and lift bottom of seat at the same time.

You don't even need a screwdriver.

Use the front seat belt buckels. Just slide them in between the carpet and seat bottom about 6" from the side. Locate the tab and then push in with the buckle.

Nice trick to know whan you lose coins or something under the rear seat

They say the the whole rear seat weighs 37 pounds or something like that. It didn't feel like that much weight. The plywood I was using to build the delete kit weighed more than the seats. I guess it isn't too smart to use 3/8'' plywood. Maybe I should have tried some balsa wood or something. Well, needless to say, that was a damn good fire that rear seat delete made.

should have sold it and made a few dollars instead of burning ;)

A bit offtopic, but there was once a website that sold the rear seat delete and he had many different logos and such to pick from. The site might have had "crystal" or something like that in it. Anyone able to help me out?

Not to mention the rear seat looks better left intact than deleting it. That alone would make me just keep it

I have the attitude, make more HP than delete weight. I mean, come on, how does 40 lbs really make a different. I would rather add to the engine than take out my stereo.

Some one will always be faster... I'm happy where I'm at.
