Finally convinced Richard here go turbo. He's got a 347 topped with ported Canfields. I just dropped 3500 dollars on a nice tig machine, so the welds better be nice...tell you what. Probably gonna go with about 7 psi. Mine moved well with the level, his should be stupid with a bigger motor. Only drawback is his block. He wimping out on me. Doesn't want to blow it. Eh,
Gonna get the same treatment of a MP T-70, 38mm wastegate and 50mm BOV. Both Tial. This is gonna be my test mule.:flag:

looks real real nice. Great work on that cage.

It looks like jaws took a chomp outta that shock tower though! :)

10secgoal and I did the cage (he welded)

I have the canfield heads which has raised exhaust ports like the 351w and also have reducer plates on the heads. those two things threw off the turbo headers and crossover and turbo mount that works with no clearance issues on a 302 with stock or aftermarket heads that have normal exhaust ports. i didn't want to have him make a custom set of headers so i notched the shock tower. i still need to clean up the JAWS marks:lol:

i ran twins on a stock block, crank, rods, and hyperwhatever pistons for years and years (daily driver). keep the rpms low and keep the knock away, and your odds increase.

nice car 12sec67. me thinks you'll be changing your screen name soon. :D

351W stock block is a whole lot stronger than a 302 block (or so I'm told) are the earlier 302W blocks stronger than the late model (87 to 93) roller blocks?

man, and i though you guys were gonna me a kit for mine before Knotts :( .I have a fresh 349 with new cam and new internals, still on a stand in my garage, so what do you think huh huh??? :)

Either way i'll see you at Knotts, im droppng in my new combo this weekend.:nice:

Ah, I'm sorry dude. I'm trying. I bought 3500 dollars worth of welding stuff and finally payed off the setup time for the first set of headers.I'll see you at knotts for sure. Rich is draggin me up there. Thinks I should be there to talk about the kit.
