4.6 carb?

thanks guys. do you think its worth it i have a 4.6 cobra motor but no wire harness and a 95 gt in need of a motor and trans should i make the car carberated or try and find a harness ?

lol these comments are funny but what they are trying to say is that going from your fuel injection to a carb is just not worth it. There are certain scenarios where staying with a carb or going carb can be worth it (money, time, experience) but fuel injection is the way to go.

or grab a horse and get it to pull ur stang along, proper pony power! lol

with the 3rd gen camaros if you go back to carb i think you make like 15-20 bhp/lbs just goin card (i think i read that somewhere) so would be and interesting swap to see if you do make any more power!

Si

I think that extra power comes from the better aftermarket intake that people would use. Say if they go a new TB and aftermarket intake they'd prolly be looking at the same numbers.

Go for it!
I love being able to work on my car. There's a complete kit out, including electronics to change an LS1 Chevy over to a carb, Someone needs to build one for the 4.6.
I know it's not the way to go for the street because the computers/FI are absolutely the way to go, but There's a couple of competition applications I wouldn't mind using it on though. That way you can actually tune it at the track and you don't have to piddledick with all the electronics.
