Love it or hate it, here it is. I didn't care for the black wheels so they swapped them out for the polished wheels.

I love the car and agree that the polished wheels look best. The first photos of the Shelby GT showed the car with the polished wheels and in black. That's is sharp. I would have bought one if my dealer hadn't wanted $8,000 over sticker. That's why I bought a regular GT.
Get rid of the front dealer's plate, though. And I would make the dealer fix the holes he made to install the plate.

I ended up getting A/Z plan since Ford finally decided to qualify them for it.
As far as the front goes Mo. requires a front license plate, i just haven't got to the license bureau to get them yet. Car has been sitting in my garage for the most part.

I'm not huge on black wheels, but I don't think the polished look right on the Shelby GT's. But nice car, nonetheless. Time to update the sig :nice:

The white cars come with the polished, and the 08's in Vista Blue come with the polished. The black cars are the only ones that get the black wheels.
Guess i need a new screen name also.

I didn't realize Ford approved A plan for the Shelby. How about X plan, I can get that, is it available too? If so, I should have got a Shelby, provided a dealer would have sold me one.
My dealer only got one Shelby which he sold for about $8,000 over sticker. He was allowed another but didn't get it because the first was so hard to sell.
I would have bought it had he sold it to me for no more than sticker, preferably X plan.
Isn't some profit better than not even getting a car to sell and making nothing?
I didn't understand his reasoning.

I think they were just approved recently. I was told by my dealer two weeks ago. Don't know about X-plan though. My dealer has had quite a few allocations. About a half dozen or so that i can think of. They still have one black and one white. The GT500's are a different story though. They have a $15,000 adm and have sold probably a half dozen of them also. They have an 08 Vapor GT500 on the showroom right now. It's a neat color. Wish they would of offered that color in 06 when we bought my wifes GT. We would have got that instead of the Tungsten.

Their reasoning is greed Stan.

Sorry, i meant on the black Shelby GT's. Polished looks fine, don't get me wrong. But I think the black ones help it stay unique looking.

I know what you mean. Everyone likes different things. If just the spokes would have been black and the whole rim would have been polished, instead of just the outer lip being polished with the rim and spokes being all black, i would have been ok with it. It was just too much black for me.
Think i said that right.
