DIY: Throttle response mod (MUST SEE)

Dont do this to your gas pedal if you plan on running a nitrous setup. Most activate at WOT and this screws up the voltage curve for the TPS. I found this out after about 2 months of troubleshooting wy my brand new Zex kit wouldnt inject. If you dont plan on doing nitrous then you shouldnt have a problem.

Neither of mine seem to have "dead space" after Brent's tunes.

People refuse to read my explanation on the cause of the dead space. It can't be tuned out, however, some Mustangs don't have the space from the factory just because they got lucky on the tolerances.

Some may never get it. Your aftermarket tune is downstream from this. There is No way to tune this out.

Nice mod. Strike one for the Spanish Oak Processor.

Just give me a throttle cable attached to a good ole' throttle body anytime.

You can tune something out. Mine had the lag in stock tune but after the Vortech supercharger canned tune it has no lag.

I understand the fact that this is a physical adjustment that can't be tuned out but TBH, I don't notice any lag at all now so any improvement is going to be minimal.

Little off topic, but does anyone know if the 2006 F250 pedal is the same? My powerstroke would love this more than my mustang

Yes it would most likely have similar internals.

if you have 05 with this ,buy new gas pedal.open up the box at the top.bend the brushes forward so they are straighter and put back togeather,install.problem solved.did this and there's no more lag,it works.this was posted on mustang forums about 2-3 mos. ago with pictures and all.like i said, it works.cost around $40-50 dollars at ford dealers!

I looked at the write up and alot of the pictures don't show up? Any thoughts?
