2005 mustang nose on classic mustang - has it been done?

  • Sponsors (?)

I've seen it done not too long after the S197's came out. It was just the nose itself, on a 68 fastback, it was a racecar at FFW. I asked him about it and he said that he had something like a few hundred man hours of work into it for it to look good.

Might be kind of cool if there were a way to give the 94-04 stangs a more classic nose. Any photoshoppers out there?

That sounds like an interesting challange, here's a halfarsed 15 min lunch time attempt.

That car is called Obsidian, was rolled out in 2006 SEMA. Twin Rotrex superchargers, Bigstuff 3 fuel injection, 6 speed, paddle shifted manual trans, custom 9", RRS complete suspension and r&p, and about a thousand or so custom made parts. Scary fast and very dangerous. The car isn't dangerous but the people rubbernecking to get another look can be deadly.

There are hundreds of hours involved in making the 2005-up front facia work on a 67 fastback. But, if interested, Autoworks International made molds of all the parts so they can make bolt on parts for your cars.

I don't work for Autoworks but I was involved peripherally with much of the build process.

Amazing car, :jaw: I don't really car for the hood but I understand why it there.

Pakrat, awsome job with the photo shop, if you hadn't said that I would of thought it was real. Could you photo shop the 05 front end of a gt and the shelby cobra 500 onto a 65 mustang? Thanks if you can.

I'll look around for some pics and see if I can find something. The toughest part is finding both subjects at the same angles to graft them together.

Here's my first crack it, I did with grill too, way harder than I thought though, the dimensions do not compare at all. I'll try another with just the lower valance.
