Maximum Motorsports R&T springs (very similar to H&R race), poly isolators all around:

How do those MM springs ride and handle? I was looking at those too... stance looks perfect.

EIBACH springs as well....stance of the car is why I bought it back in 2000.

Sportlines? Looks great.

The car rides stiffly, but it isn't harsh IMO. I can def feel the bumps in the road. I haven't had the chance to push it, yet. When I try to bounce the springs, the bilsteins only allow about 1/8th of an inch of movement at most. I like it--much better than stock with a blown strut.

Im running eibach sportline springs up front without the bottom isolater, steeda x2 ball joints (which lowered it about almost 1/2 an inch) and also eibach sportlines in the rear.


So are you saying that the ball joints lowered it almost 1/2" or the isolator being removed? Thanks.

If you run the X2 ball joint without the spacer on the spring, it will result in a 1/2 inch drop due to the spindle riding higher on the ball joint (in simple terms).

I see people run/don't run isolators?

Wouldn't the springs make noise? What the purpose of them?

I just installed 1 inch sport springs by Spring Techniques, but my front isn't where I want it.

I was going to cut a half coil off.

I do have both top and bottom isolators on the front too.

Suggestions?

Cut coil or remove bottom isolator? The are new Energy Supension isolators.

I want the front down just a SMIDGE more.



Springs don't settle after a few weeks do they?

I have BBK specific rate springs with Tokico Blue shocks on my vert. They've been on for a few years now and I like the stance. 225/40/17 on the front & 245/45/17 on the rear. I woulf like to put the 245's in front and get 275's for the rear.

That stance looks perfect... are you running any isolators?

Yes, all the isolators are in. I love how it's raked like that. I was debating cutting the dead coil on the rear but decided to leave it as is

That's because the car's been stored for the last 4 years and everyone got sick of me posting the same pics all the time

Until i got some new stuff, i haven't been posting many pics.

But here's a few since you haven't seen it.

There have been some changes though

OEM black interior swap....nothing is dyed
(tach is gone, and it will be a 5-spd shortly)

Has '93 Cobra taillights now too
