i know man, i didnt mean it that way. i would love to have a sick setup like that..but thats...more then i paid for my whole car!

I know... Your car looks good with a minimal amount of cash invested...

I have only had this car for a few months & already lost count on the $$$$ spent...Its sickening, but worth it....:nice:

im cheap  lol i want to find cobra brakes for it. i couldnt justify spending 600 bucks just on the front. so im going to slowly collect parts when i find them and get rid of the ****ty drums in the back! there a pita.

ive got less then like 2,200 in my car with everything ive done. 5 lug, 3.73's Autometer gauges, sub frames ( still not on ) and about 100 just in detailing products. so far my car is screaming budget build and im loving it!

i love your coupe. you doing it up right.

i ran the stock booster/mc with cobra fronts and rear drums for a few months with no problems.

i upgraded to 93 cobra stuff when i did the rear disk.

Project looks great!

I rolled my fenders for my 275/60/15's by using a wooden baseball on the tire....lowly move the car forward, spins the tire and depending how much rolling you want pull the baseball bat in or out.

I know it sounds redneck but it worked, didn't destroy the paint. An old-school hot rodder told me how to do it.

You could get those Cobra brakes at the wrecking yard for pretty cheap out here in cali... Damn $2.200!!! I have more than that in my 5 lug swap!!! Its all good though, your car looks good nonetheless.

You'll be fine without the MC. I have the exact same setup on my car right now (until I swap to the discs in the rear which are in the garage right now). No pedal problems at all.

Thanks for the info guys, I am gonna give the stock stuff a shot for a little while & upgrade later....

Thats a good way to do it, but I was scared so I took the easy, but costly way out....

are those 17x9's deep dish?? or 10's?

The 9's are the fronts & the 10's are deep dish....50 resto makes a set with DD 9" fronts, but they dont look as good IMO...

:nice: Nice project man!

One day I'll do mine. It already has 4 wheel disc brakes installed....and it seems like every write up or parts kit is geared towards drum rears.

the budget kits are... because its a hell of a lot easier.

my 5 lug/cobras happened in steps over about a year of DD duty as a college car.

More parts arrived today!!!:D

Another part that most dont mention when talking about SN95 front brake swaps is the Weather Head brake line adapter. It is for the passenger side brake line. The drivers side soft-line to hard-line attaches directly while the passenger side requires a Weatherhead 7828 fitting. I bought mine at NAPA for about $8.00 & it is a must have & something that will most likely be overlooked....

If I had the tools & jacks etc. I would be done today, but since I dont, I have to be on other peoples time schedules to help me out. Probably wont be done for a week or so. Plus I work a lot of hours so its hard to find the time to get er' done...I cant wait!!!!

Good choice on the wheels. Can't wait to see them mounted.

Awesome jop painting the calipers.

You'll love the Bilsteins.

I didn't see you mention the stock prop valve. Are you going to leave it in place?

I see you have brake lines. I was going to tell you to buy a quality flare tool if you have to modify any lines. Well worth the money....trust me.

Now hurry up and finish. I gotta see those wheels on that white notch!!!

Thanks man...

I love the way Bilsteins ride, I have ran them on my last 3 stangs. As for the prop valve, I am gonna use the stock 1 along with the stock MC & booster since I am sticking with rear drums. If the brakes dont feel right, I will step up the rest of the components...

I should have all this stuff on the car soon....Stay tuned:flag:
