What tires is everyone running?

I just took off my winter Blizzaks (WS-50) and put back on my Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s. They are getting a bit worn but I've had them for almost 3 years. They are great tires but expensive and not a winter tire at all.

I'm trying to decide which will be my next set.

245/45/17 Genereal Exclaim UHP, I bought these right after I bought my GT.

It needed tires badly and I was on a budget. Very inexpensive for the performance. Thread life was really good too.

Now I just ordered some new wheels, going for 275/40/17 Falken Azenis RT-615

I have Nitto NT555 245/45/17 in front. I like those. Nitto NT555R 285/35/18 in back and I hate them. They are just wearing out fast and throw rocks at my nice paint job. They do not hook up at all, I have stock control arms though. Working on upgrading those and hoping the tires will be better after that. I'd tell you I'd let you know how it goes, but controls arms are going have to wait a little while longer.

BFG KDW II's up front with Nitto NT05's out back. NT05's are the best tire I've ever owned....period. Don't know how tread life will be though only have a thousand miles on them. Very sticky above 60 degrees and will handle in the rain very well.

Hi , Newbe here. I,m trying different tires this time round. I have had ( so far ) Original tires, Nitto 555 Drag Radials , Firestone Firehawk SZ 50ep,s , BFG Drag Radials and now , a new set of Falken Azenis 615,s 255/40/17,s up front and 275/40/17,s out back all on stck rims. These tires look amazing . Only had them a week so first impressions are pretty good . Good grip , awesome looks , great price. Cars laying down 445 rwhp so need something with teeth Ha Ha.

I need new rear tires, im thinking either nitto 555s or nitto invo, or bfg kdw2's

bfg kdw2s dont come in 245/45/17 though, so id have to get those in 245/40/r17 - would that be bad?

what do you guys recommend- its my daily driver and i live in FL

I love my Nitto NT555's....I have 245/45/17's up front and 275/40/17's in the rear and I can testify that they have great tread life and traction! I'll get 'em again when these ones wear out! oh yeah...the 245/40/17"s....It probably wouldn't make a huge difference but you'll be going with a slightly smaller than stock tire....I wouldn't do it. Get some fatties on those rear wheels, they look sweet and hook nice!:nice:

I've run three sets of Kumho Ecsta ASX 275/45/17 up front. Great tire for the money. Grips awesome wear well and have a decent sidewall. I just switched to toyo proxy4's up front and well they are ok so far however I've already had them howl so Im not so sure on grip, Im still tweaking the suspension.

Since I like to spin my wheels Ive been running Sumi's out back at $110 its the only tire for me 315/35/17.

I did try the BFG drag radial out back and while it was sticky like fly paper it only has about 6 good burn outs in it before they lose their grip. Also they are deadly in the rain.

Im about to try the new Kumho 335's out back for $211 a tire I wont be spinning them.

If I had to get new fronts tomorrow Id go back to Kumho's they havent let me down.
