67 Restoration Southeast Area shop?

Hey guys!

I have sold the 07 GT500 and am ready to get started on the 67. I really want to get the body work done right by a restoration shop. I plan to do all the suspension, engine, interior etc. ourselves here at the SN Shop. I also have Classic Design Concepts working with me for their Flashback body parts.

I would love to be able to use this forum to help track the progress for the project and get ideas and tips from you guys...

So for the first question, who is reputable in the GA AL North FL area to do restoration metal and paint work on a 67?

Mike, the two places I would trust are . . .

Both these places are well known in the Mustang Circles, especially the Rego's.

I think Mustangs Unlimited does resto work in ATL.
There was another place called Metro Mustangs that does resto work in ATL too but I don't know if they're still around.

My '68 is currently finishing up body and paint at OFI Classic Cars - Atlanta Mustang restorations, Thunderbird restorations, parts. They've done a couple other stangnet members' cars and quite a few award winners - browse the gallery to see some of their work.

Full disclosure: my dad used to own the shop and still helps out there. He's a perfectionist who's been restoring Mustangs and Thunderbirds for several decades.
