e brake

Not sure I've ever heard of this being a "problem". It's a loose fitting part, so I'm sure it could rattle/vibrate under the right circumstances. A far reaching cause of such vibration could be weakening/broken mounts... engine/tranny mounts, but that's really pushing it IMO. I'd say there isn't a problem. I've never felt the button to see if it was vibrating because it is not at all an important part of the car.

yeah i know but very noise but isnt broke, might be because of my exhaust it is dumped and very loud. i have no cats and use dyno max racing bullets for mufflers everything vibrates.

You could take the handle apart and try to tighten up the button or put some sort of damping material in there... RTV or some other rubbery substance, just not in a place where it hinders motion. Otherwise I'd say there's nothing you can really do about it.

Yes I have the same problem! I grab the e-brake when it makes noise and it will go away. It has did it since day 1. I have not figured anything out, but grab it and then the noise goes away.
Sorry I could not help but this is a problem for all of us, that needs to be fixed.

sweet tooth:

How about a piece of heat shrink tubing on the button? A hair dryer will provide enough heat to shrink it on and it shouldn't move. Others have used an elastic band twisted on the button and tucked behind the handle.

My e-brake button has always been quiet so I consider myself lucky.

HTH,

Chris

Yea, mine does it, but not too bad. I've never tried taking it apart or anything. I normally just wiggle it a bit and it'll shut up for a good while.

Same here, buzzing e-brake handle, but it seems to have gone away for good. I haven't heard it for awhile now.
