2011 test drive!

I test drove a 2011 GT today, Black with the only options being the brembo brake/wheel package and 3:73 gears. Basically built for speed. $32,329
I drove a 2007 Gt500 4 days earlier and I was more impressed with the GT. Hats off to the team who developed the new 5.0 Tons of torque down low and after 4,000 rpm WOW. I was the only one in the car so I was harder on it than most, Gotta say even with 3:73 gears this car hooked better than my 07 GT even though it has a bit more than 100 hp more. Sweet car!

Awesome! Does the new 6-spd manual tranny grind when shifting like the 5-spd Tremec does on earlier model 4.6L GTs?

No grinding, I actually noticed it was very smooth.

I believe the new 6spd is from Getrag instead of Tremac

Was this a base GT then, with cloth interior? If "yes," how would you describe the cloth?

How does the car sound?

I have that exact car in Sterling gray/Charcoal interior. Interior looks great...no cheesy patterns and looks good in the dark charcoal. You'll love that car.
