So right now my car is my DD but with the next couple of months i will be getting a Lincoln LS, so then the stang will turn into a weekend toy, just asking cause a guy from the unit arcoss the street from me has one in his fox but is putting in a full interior and offer to sell me his for pretty cheap. Just wondering from the guys who have them if they like them or wish they woulda stuck with full interior.

Sorry its so long but thanks for reading

the only guys i know who have them love them... ive never had any one in the back seat of my LX so im making my own this winter out of fiberglass and im going to try and get my battery box to sit down in it as far as i can and build a few racks under it for things like relays and a small thing of common tools.

I've never had one, but IMHO, unless it's a all-out race car, it's kind of silly.

I mean, comeon. If you ever get it to the point where it's a real fast street car, saying that it has a full interior is like icing on the cake.

sometimes in hatchbacks they look alright, im not really into it, theres no real reason to do it to me. In notchbacks i hate em, dosent look clean at all. My back seat is completly useless but its staying forever

I'm not realy into them. They don't look attractive at all.

Nobody has sat in my rear seat in 9 years...but i still installed an SN95 rear leather seat with no intention of anyone ever sitting in it

Here are the few i have, it doesnt look stock, but i prefer the look of it. No bull****, but still not gawdy like bare metal is. Maybe its been so long since ive had a back seat ive forgot what it actually looks like.

the one he has is the second one you linked, its in really good shape the guy just wanted a full interior again so he offered it to me, The only thing that kinda sucks is his is back and my interior is red, but i wanted to do a two tone eventually anyways with black carpet, seats and doors. Then leave the dash and center console red.

Thanks for the replies gents

Once I put the rollbar in, I ditched the seats. I made my own delete and put my stereo amplifiers where the seats used to be. I'm redoing everything now and I will have my ECU, PMS, and amplifiers in the rear seat area. I welded together a frame to mount everything on and it will be hidden when it's all said and done.

I vote for keeping the back seat. I did a rear seat delete a couple years ago, and now I have a 10 month old son that I will want to cart around in the back on nice summer days. Not only that, but you never know when a few buddies will want to hop in and go for a spin. I sold my seat, so now I'll have to find another one and they arent really that cheap to replace.

**** my friends, if they want to go for a ride in a fast car they can build their own.

Well yeah, your car is a purpose built canyon carver. A lot of us just have weekend warriors without the all out badassness of your car. I was just giving my point of view that if you have doubts, you might as well keep it. I doubt you second guessed pulling yours Shaolin.

Haha, the car remained stock for a whole hour after i bought it. When i got it home i already had all the 5 lug stuff and about 80% of the MM catalog. I toor the interior out and threw it all away as most of it was crap.

I assumed the OP was doing the same when he asked about it. Just giving my .02 about what i did.

It really doesn't make sense to do a rear seat delete in a notch because it will weigh more than the stock seat set up, but in a hatchback, if you use the right materials it will reduce weight... slightly.

I did mine because I never used the rear seat and wanted room for the sound system... and weight wasn't a concern because I designed it to be easily removed for when I go to the track.
