They're supposed to protect your wires/boots up to 2000F.

I've got a set on the way, expensive little bastards. Just bought a set of Jegs red powr wires and they damn near melted off the motor.

Well I hope I didn't screw up, but got the Jegs brand. I don't run turbos or anything, just headers so I hope they'll work. The dang things were 50 bucks!

I got a deal on some Accel ones from a part store. They had them mismarked for 15 bucks. They've kept my plug wires alive so far....

They work great..I'm using them with my gt40p heads..my wires are real close to the headers..
