turn signal help please

My son has an 88 mustang and his turn signals suddenly quit working. First checked the fuse and it was ok. Checked all the bulbs and they were OK. The brake lights and park lights work. Could it be the switch itself? It is the expennsive($200) one and I didnt want to see him spend what little he makes if it was something else. Any ideas?

could be the flasher module itself. they do tend to go out from timeto time - very cheap deal to replace.

I was just told to check the connection at the hazard switch on the dash, another member found his problem was there. I still havn't found mine, and the turns have officially quit working haha.
