my 94 GT has a problem with the fan. The fan will not come on when you turn A/C on. It will only come on when it gets hot, ive tried 2 different fans, no help... my gauge fluctuates as well... just did it today. it will flutter just a bit. but ive had car for couple months now and it always had same problem... car runs very cool in winter like it doesnt even have heat.... and once it gets warm it doesnt like to cool back down, especially since fan acts stupid... the fan will run for about 15 seconds, go off for about 10, then come back on for 15 seconds... and its nonstop... i dont understand whats up with it. Im ready to put a clutch fan on it.

so recap...

has new 190 thermostat.
coolant sensor appears new in intake.. not sure about ect
two different fans and fan only works at high temp, not A/C
gauge fluctuates a little

PLEASE HELP ME... no one ever posts resolutions, i found tons of ppl with same problem but no fix

Is it my relay box?

Two things

One does it actually overheat?

Second when you turn on the AC the fan is supposed to turn on as long as the AC is functional. If the AC clutch is not engaging the fan wont turn on since it relies on the ac pressure switch to trigger the CCRM box to turn on the fan as long as the AC system has the correct pressure in the lines to tell the ac pressure switch that theres line pressure.Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

What happened to the 94-95 Mustang Wiki? It appears to be down right now.

Are you sure there's a t-stat in there?
Is there an aftermarket temp gauge?

When the car is at 210*F, does CCRM pin 12 show 12V?
When the AC is turned on, does CCRM Pin 17 have continuity to ground?

Is there a circuit breaker on the fan connector?

dump the factory fan and install a flex-a-lite electric fan. it comes with its own temp sensor that is adjustable per a knob so it will come on however u set it plus it has one wire that u splice into your a/c compressor wire that makes the fan come on with yuor a/c
