I have a few more things to do like move some wiring and re-route the return line.I also need a bonnet stud since the t/b has a smaller thread hole.I havent driven it yet, but its WAY more responsive so far.I hope is was worth the house payment.If this dont work my jet boat will run awesome:nice:

I can say that Cody, the tech guy there is more then helpful.I took it around the block (no tags on car)and its very smooth, then the boost comes in and were skatin. I can tell the more I drove it, the more it was learning and fiiling in the cells on the fuel map.I need to do adjustments for the turbo fuel map, but it looks like its going to be easy to make changes.Dont belive the "afternoon install", it took me a few days and few beers to finish it. Most of it being chasing down fittings and hose and a 2 year old tugging at my pants.But it really is a 3 wire hook up and replacing the carb(and return line).

Looks really cool, I look forward to hearing more of your input and experience with this unit. I may run one of these units on my car when I get to the engine part of my project.
 
They dont have the timing control or Fuel on Demand out yet. Im supposed to swap my computer when they are available.

I have been driving the car a few miles after work. The driveability is great, but its still learining the fuel map. Under boost the a/f is staying at about 11.7-11.9, while cruise is about 13.5. The car feels totally different and the power is now unusable.Before, the boost would come on strong and pull,now its just blowing the tires off whenever the boost comes on.Cold start is nothing more then cycling the key a few time(to get more fuel to prime) and then it starts and idles at about 950 without feathering the pedal like i used to.With my laptop in the car i can see the fule changing as i drive and also see that my "expensive" Autometer guage is off by about 20* so the car has been at about 170-180*, barely going into closed loop.
 
Hey iskwezm, it's been quite some time but I wanted to see how this system is working for you? I've got mine up and running now and am ironing out a few wrinkles. I did want to see how you handled running the temperature sending unit to both the EFI and to your autometer gauge as well. I'm running an Air-Gap intake which only has single input for a temp sending unit and I'd like to see what temp I am running at without having my laptop hooked in all the time. I was thinking of tapping into the water kneck, but I wouldn't get an accurate temperature until the thermostat opened up.

Thoughts?

The car is running great.Have a idle issue when coming to a stop, but i really havent had time to mess with it since I dont drive it that often.But it runs great,starts easy and is now very dependable regardless of the weather. The only down side, it really calmed down my cam :(

My manifold has 2 ports for the water temp.My Autometer still reads about 18-20* higher then the laptop shows and I have verified this with a temp gun.Only thing i can think of is tapping the intake or having a bung welded for another sender.

It sounds like you two guys are both satisfied with this system. I am leaning towards something like this since a good carb costs like $650.

Let me know if you still recommend this system and if you are have to tune even on a naturally aspirated engine? I know iskwezm has a turbo. Thanks
 
I paid I think $1450 for mine complete.I paid about $900 for a stage 3 "race" carb and $600 for a fuel pump that now sits on a shelf(but its for sale :) ). If I had another vehicle, I would definately put it on there too, which I might put on my BB jet boat.

The kit is self tuning and being N/A, theres less parameters to change.When you first drive the vehicle, it learns all the cells based on the rpm. Being that mine has a turbo and ive gone through hell with headgaskets, i dint trust just mashing the gas like it says, so i had to program 60% of it manually.I also live local to one of the "kids" that helped design it, so I can get help prestty easily if i ever need it.
 
I went with the 75 lb. injectors and bigger pump so supposedly about 700hp.The t/b is rated at 750cfm but will flow close to 900cfm.

I ended up going with the upgraded 80lb injectors... incase anyone is wondering the part number here it is.

lol.

gotta love efi though. Got mine up and running and it does self learn also but just slowly. (Fast XFI) Base tune wasn't too bad, just the cranking fuel was ridiculously rich. Got a really good deal on mine with my Summit Pro account.

The auto fuel enrichment with the wideband is so nice with a blower car though. Last thing you wanna do is go lean.
