Kind of a catch 22 with the 10" wheels. 275's are pretty square on that width of wheel. That being said, they don't leave a lot of rubber to protect the edge of the rim. I can see just by your second pic that the edge of your rim is slightly exposed.

On the other hand 315's would do a much better job of shielding the rim from scuff marks, but a 315mm tire is a better match on a 10.5" wheel. I've personally got plenty of clearance with my 275's...and could probably fit a 315mm tire in the rear without much issue. I did have to adjust my tailpipes a little and the quad shocks had to go...but it's certainly doable. Just not sure how it would look or fit on the narrower wheel? The 315mm tire is a good 1.5" wider than the 275mm tire...which would look pretty bulgey IMO?

yea 315 are nice a price is not an issue i just dont want to buy them and have to sell them but i think im going to have to get a new exhaust cause its real close right now....get maybe custom made but i think the 315 would be great on that wheel i just hate speed bumps and screwed up streets here by my area u know lol

I've got 275's and they are pretty close - no way I could fit a 315. I've already had to roll my lip to get the tires to fit, also the exhaust is real close. I managed to keep the quad shocks on with a little spacing.
I think your car looks good the way it is, don't want to damage the fender trying to run too large of a tire, or burn the tire on the hot exhaust pipes.

Also remember that the car swings back and forth a little. If you push on one side of the car you can see how much side-to-side movement there is, especially in the back.

On point I forgot to mention, is that I've still got the stock springs in the car. I would think a set of lowering springs of any drop is going to affect how much room you've got.

I didn't need to roll my rear wheel well at all with the 275's. Like I said, just the quad shock removal was all that was required.

As the matter of fact...the only rubbing I get at all is from the 255's up front. They seem to be grazing the inner fender well at full lock under hard deceleration, or when entering a driveway.

Jamie...are those the OEWheels Anniversary wheels with the Nexen N3000 tires? If so, I have the exact same ones, but in triple chrome. :nice:

315's are definitely better suited for a 10.5" rim. On a 10 I wouldnt go larger than a 295. This seems the sort of subject where what worked well on one vehicle doesnt work with another. Standards of deviation during manufacture and all the variables that adjust how the car sits over the years makes each one unique. I managed to get 315's to fit under my car with some fender rolling and massaging the inner fender. Tailpipes still clear fine. That being said they work well for a car that will be mildly driven show car or strictly in a straight line.Any sort of aggressive driving will rub as the suspension flexes. If you want a more streetable size 275-285 on a 10" rim.
