Strut tower brace for 1998 v6

Okay so I recently bought a strut tower brace for my car from American Muscle and it won't fit over my stock intake manifold. So its clearly not compatible with 1994-1998 3.8L. So I did some comparative shopping after I bought it, of course, and I see that BBK makes a stb that will.supposedly fit with my car, engine size, and stock intake manifold, its the BBK Gripp 2516 strut tower brace. Has anyone used this exact part on a 1994-98 V6? I will post the pictures of the problem soon.

Yes, that one (94-98GT) will fit perfect even with a CAI and a lower intake spacer.
