Running weird

I was driving and it was raining and I kinda went through a puddle and now it wants to turn off when I come to a stop or when I'm in neutral

What could it be.

Start by checking to see if the MAF got wet.

What do you mean "kinda went through a puddle"? Did you or didn't you?

How deep was it? How fast were you going? How much splash was there?

As wm sez, you may have ingested some water and wetted the MAF or you may have gotten water on the ignition components.

i was going about fourty and the puddle wasnt deep at all but my car is running better now.
