Engine Revs When Braking Hard

Anyone ever experience this? Driving the fox last night getting a feel for the fresh 4 disc swap....I stood on brakes hard and the motor revved up.
Vacuum? Brake booster not up to the task of sn95 cobra brakes?

None of the above and revving the motor doesn't increase vacuum, it decreases it.

Lol well I reckon I'll look out for that next time...after all I've only driven it twice with the new pedals installed

If it's a stick, start making a habit of pressing the clutch in when you're braking hard. You'll hear that motor zing if you're catching both pedals. And it does happen, I had it happen Friday at the track.

I had it happen Friday at the track.

I have it happen regularily because of my clown sized feet and the previous owner of my car added a set of ricer pedal covers to the car. Just too damn lazy to climb under the dash and remove them.

I feel for the SVO guys that have the race style pedals. I took my buddies '86 for a ride once and I litterally had to concentrate on NOT pressing the brake and accelerator pedals at the same time. That set up is friggin useless!!!

Happens to me all the time, especially when wearing work boots! Also have caught the brake petal when depressing the clutch, now I bring my tennis shoes with me when I drive, and work boots get put on there!
