2002 GT Convertible water leak

Just picked up a 02 GT convertible. I knew they were bad about water leaking in the back where the top lay in when its down. But I got such a good deal on this car I couldn't pass it up. I washed it yesterday...and found water in the back. The thing is I didn't run water on the top...or back window. People are telling me there is a drain....but now one knows where it's located. Does anyone know where it's located ?

Well, your leak is coming from one of two places, either the drain is clogged where the rear quarter window meets the top (the tension cable is too loose causing water to go to the wrong place), or at the bottom of your rear window. I'd suggest removing the drain plugs behind your seats too. Been in the same situation with mine too.

With the top half way up it is easy to inspect and repair. Have someone hold it for you half way up.
