Ok do NOT put it in boost at all . Let me ask a question . Did he not hear it on the dyno ? And did he also read your spark plugs or just go directly based off the afr being in check ? I smell methonal in your future .i was happy!....but now im not!
Im not really a meth fan either,but if i have to i will,i just wanted it to work at low boost,but ya somthing isnt right,going to call him later,spent some good dow on the tune man?....would it make a differnt if the cars hot?....he was letting it cool each pull?.....and car is PARKED!Ok do NOT put it in boost at all . Cars hot inlet temps are higher - hot air going into. Even hotter combustion temps . My. ya i know,left him a message,he gona call me back....but he did drive it and check the plugs for a pattern,said it was good?.....and the air fuel seems good until around 5600,told me to set the limeter at 5500 and ill be good.....he spent all day on it,but as soon as i drove away with the car running at 180-195 it was for sure detonating,from 0-4 psi,all i took it too....frustrating for sure!Sorry to hear your having issues. If its detonating you need to take it back to the tuner. He didn't do his job. If he can't handle it get your money back and find another tuner . How could he tune it and not hear it detonating and again not see it on the a/f gragh? And Toolow91 nailed it. A race fuel and/or a meth kit will solve the high compression issue. I recommend the meth kit. Whatever you do it'll cost you another tune.
Like I said in this case better safe then sorry I think meth is the answer . I'm sure your initial response was to say wasn't that what yesterday was for ?he called me back and he says he will have to tweek the tune?!
