    When buying the PP harmonic balancer, I know I will need the .950" spacer. Do I need a new bolt when using stock size crank pulley or can I reuse the stock bolt? If I do need it, is it some standard bolt where I can get it at a local parts store?

    I have a 92 5.0 .030 over to a 306 with TRW pistons and the mods in the signature. Main concern is piston rings, I get smoke after hard driving. How much should an engine rebuild cost? Might have to go with .040 overbore to a 308. BTW The engine would still be in the car so the rebuilder...

    Why does the PCV hose run to two spots on the intake?

    I'm redoing my upper and lower intake. I noticed that the hose runs from the PCV to the upper intake on the side and then it goes to the bottom of the upper. Do I need it hooked up in two spots like that?

    Oil all over intake gasket from PCV! *PIC*

    So I'm looking for the source of smoke and surging idle and I think I found it. How do I stop the PCV valve from drawing oil? I tried a cheap oil seperator but it was just that, cheap. Notice how the gasket is only oily on the right side where the PCV hose is attached to the intake.

    Sometimes my car will blow a little smoke after hard driving. It also has a bad idle when cold and backfire into the intake if I drive it cold, but just fine when it warms up after 3-4 mins.     Ok so I might redo all my vaccum lines since I don't know what the previous owner did. I need some of your guys help with this. I don't have the smog pump hooked up, no egr, no A/C, no cruise control on the car. Wouldn't this mean that the only vaccum lines I need is the PCV, fuel pressure...

    Post your vaccum numbers. Do I have a vac leak?

    How much vaccum do you get at idle? What is your RPM at idle? I get 10" at idle. Do I have a vac leak? I have an F cam so my vac numbers may be lower I think. I'm asking because I have a bit of hesitation at 2000 rpm and the idle surges if the weather is below ~70 degrees.

    Transmission fluid for a brand new T-5

    From the searches I found out that I should use dexron III atf. Is this correct? Anyone know how many quarts? Are there any brands better then others? This is a brand new Tremec T-5 Z.
