    Engine Dying when put into gear (auto)

    Our 96 GT idles fine in Park or Neutral, but the second we put it into Drive or Reverse, the engine dies quickly. I have no idea what is causing it, does anybody know? I dont think it is the IAC because the car idles fine.. any help?

    I own a 1990 LX 5.0 5-speed "7-up edition". Only 1360 5-speeds were produced. I also own a 1988 ASC/McLaren Mustang. Only 1015 were made in 88.
