im looking at a 89 5.0 but there is a problem. There is a vacuum leak that is affecting the idle. how hard is it to fix that? it also needs a new radiator. is this tough? thanks for your help.

when i start my car, my idle is fine, my exhaust starts hiccuping when im at an idle and then it feels like the car is turning over and stalling. when i hit the car it goes away some until i hit 2nd gear. just wondering if it was the oil pan gasket for sure now? thanks, josh

89 2.3 n/t. when i start it up, the oil pressure jumps up and stays where it should be. after about 5-10 miles driving, the pressure drops to the L on normal when i hit the gas. when i hit the clutch, it goes back to where it should be. any ideas what could be causing this? the motor was...

removing some of the power steering fluid helped temporarily. I am convinced it is the rag joint now. where would be the best place to get one cheap and is it hard to put on or should i let a mechanic do it? im not looking to pay alot for this fix. thanks :nice:

so i just got my engine swapped out. did it myself with the help of my uncle :nice: now i have a question. since the car was dead and couldnt be run, the ebrake was set cuz it was on a hill. now that the car is drivable, the brake light is on and it feels like the ebrake is engaged even though...

i found a 2.3l engine with 85k miles on it with a t5 transmission for $300 in clearwater. i also found a 2.3l engine with 67k miles on it with a t5 transmission for $400 in st pete. would either of these be a good idea to get and drop in my car or no? thanks. both drives are about an hour away.

ok so. my 2.3tc died the other day and i think i wanna upgrade to the 5.0. my fox is an 89 lx hatch and it has the 4banger suspension and setup. i was wondering what (if you could list everything) i need to do the 2.3 to 5.0 swap. i would appreciate it. thanks

i have normal silver alloy pony wheels on my stang. would they look better painted black or chromed out? the car is going to be black with full tint all around.
