    where is the chip located in my 94 Cobra computer?

    The chip should be plugged into the side of the factory ECM. On the opposite side of the harness plug in. If there's no chip there should be a black rubber cover over it something like that

    I noticed that also, that it's not on magnaflows website. But when I search google for "magnaflow 93339" and click on shopping it looks like it's still available from jegs, summit, i called autozone gave them them the part number and it looks like they can order it also :shrug:

    Planning on getting either the Pypes XFM-30 or Magnaflow 93339 catted mid-pipes. Both about $350ish (give or take $20) Any input on either one? The Pypes system seems nice since can pull out cats in 15-20min it seems like.

    cat was toast. put a 1inch wide 2 inch long rectangular cutout before 2nd cat on passenger side and problem's fixed, now to order new midpipe since confirmed problem

    Unplugged MAF and reved it, no difference still wouldn't rev past 3-3.5k. Checked timing it was at 12degree. Time to unhook manifold from stock mid-pipe and give it a quick rip down the block

    still working on it. Pulled the extender out just to make sure that wasn't it because i found out that it extender cut in rpm is 2500 and still same problem. I've checked the TPS voltage and it is linear with no issues. Borrowed a better jack from a friend so i'm gonna disconnect manifold...

    Checked the SPOUT it's in properly. Tested cranking fuel pressure it's a 40PSI. Gonna change plugs tomorrow and pull the extender. If they still don't make a difference gonna drop the stock mid-pipe and give it an open manifold run down the block to see if it did the trick, if so i'll just...

    Just recently my car started having problems. It won't accelerate past 2.5-3k RPM. In neutral it won't rev past 4k. MASSIVE power loss. It doesn't misfire when easy on the throttle but if i try to punch it (which is pointless anyways) i can feel it misfiring. Tested with a new coil no...

    Power window only moving a bit

    Flipped the switches still didn't work, cleaned the contacts with electrical connector cleaner also before switching them. So it's either the motor or the regulator binding up :(

    Power window only moving a bit

    On my 95 Cobra the driver side power window moves down about 1/4 inch each time I hit the down button. To get the window all the way down i have to keep tapping the button. It goes up fine though with no hesitation. I don't hear the motor continually trying to move it either after it moves...

    So the problem ended up being that the Screamin' Demon Coil went out and it's only about 8 months old. :notnice: The coil would move around a bit in the housing so it prob caused something inside to mess up and when we disconnected the wire from it to the dizzy it would spark from the metal...

    Dizzy is about 8 months old, the previous one's PIP went out :bang: really hope the new one's not shot even though when it happened first time mechanic scanned for codes and nothing about the PIP was in there like there was the first time the PIP went out

    Code 211? PIP Erratic

    i just looked around the forums some more and found out that it is a senor in the distributor like you said, and that if it is going that it is best to get a new distributor because the sensor may be cheap but you need to tear down the dizzy and then rebuild it after putting in the new sensor

    I got the codes ran on my car and it came back with a 211 PIP Erratic. The car has some problems starting at times but seems to drive fine. What exactly is the PIP and how much would it cost to replace it?
