    Yes, it does hurt performance. If all of your sensors, ECM and ignition system arent getting the proper voltage the car will not run right. I upgraded to a 3g from a good working stock alternator and could tell a difference.

    You have Mass Air. All 88 Mustangs from California had to have it. The other states didnt. Mine is from Texas and is speed density.

    Yeah, DOOe's. That was a mistype. And yes, I need to check if they have hardened valve seats installed yet. They were on a 66 302 coupe doing 12's in the 1/4. They were a buddys of mine that has long moved away.

    Tires

    Yup, I really cant afford a set of bling, bling at the moment so I wanted to go the cheap and still look decent route. Im thinking a 225/60 in the front and a 245/50 in the rear. The tire height should remain close that way.

    Im also wondering if a 60 series tire will fit in the front of my 88 since it is lowered 2"? My 225/50/16's fit fine with no rubbing issues at all.

    Ok, then the same thing will apply to a 16" rim correct? I have 245/50/16's on my Ponys and they fit with no problem. Why wouldnt a 245/50/15 fit on a 10 hole?? I plan on ditching my Ponys in favor of the more sedate look of 10 holes.

    Halo headrest install HELP

    I just unzipped the bottom of the seat cover and reached my hand up the back with a small flat blade screwdriver til i found where the headrest snaped into the notch and pryed out on it with the screwdriver and pulled them out. Pretty simple.

    Yes, you will need to remove the old rubber bushing from it's shell by burning it out or chewing it up with a drill and digging it out. Grease the new poly bushing and put the steel shell on it.

    Yup, the tranny had only 1/2 quart of fluid in it. I will check the mainshaft also. The puller your refering to is an inside 3-Jaw puller correct?
