    NEW STEREO HELP

Give me the model number of the cd player and of the make/model of the wiring harness. I used to install for the Roadshop at Circuit City and these cars are notorius for headaches. Chances are the wiring harness is not the correct one, but I won't know for sure until you give more info.

    Starting Woes..

Haha, yes it sounds exactly like a machine gun minus the booming. That is the best sound represenation that I could imagine. I will definately have to get this battery checked out. I will also check into the ground to chassis connection. Thanks for looking out guys, I do appreciate it.

    Starting Woes..

Two days ago when I got out of work, I went to start my car and got this really loud clicking noise. Of course the car didn't start and I did it again and again, with the same result. Finally after about five times it turned over, but it did the same thing yesterday. I really need to know...

    Non-mach stereo Issues

Hello blown speakers! If they went out at the same time, it might be the wiring, but since you said the right ones are crackling now, I am sure they are both toast. Is the car a vert or coupe and are they the factory speakers running off an aftermarket headunit?

    Typhoon Intake Review

I will get some pics up as soon as my digi cam is back in hand. Sorry, no dyno numbers because the nearest dyno is about two hours away. And if you call a ported upper plenum and a catted H pipe highly moddified, then I must have a top fuel dragster..... I will say that I was unaware of...

    Typhoon Intake Review

I decided to go with the Professional Products Typhoon intake for my car after reading the mid range gains in MM&FF. 11 rwhp isn't bad for a mostly stock car, which mine is not. I ordered mine in the satin finish from RPM Outlet (Read Bottom) because I didn't want to spend the extra cash for...

I need some intake help ASAP!!

I put the new Typhoon intake on my car two days ago and went to start it up and it has a rediculously rough idle and it won't stay running for more than 45 seconds. Now I talked to the local Ford Dealership and they said it was probably a vacuum leak due to me re-using the stock gaskets. So...

    Shaker!

It was worth the $40 that I spent on it. Actually after it was all said and done, with the hardware and plumbing that I ordered from CDC and the paint it was still only $200. I got it for a steal no doubt, but after the time that I have had it and all the compliments that I get from it, I...

car died on freeway last night =(

I was sitting here reading this and I told my girlfriend to come read it. After reading the third line we both knew it was a blown plug. I have experienced this twice now, once on each head. My second one happened Monday after I got out of work. Your chances of finding heads for less than...

    Changing oil on lowered stang

I couldn't figure it out either, until I put my girlfriend's car up on my mustang jack to change her oil, and "DING"....there is an idea! I know it is basic, but there is plenty of room if you use the spare tire jack and put it on the driver's side of the car. Easy, and it costs you nothing...

    Labor Day down the crapper....

I will start with the cliffnotes: On my way home today, I threw a spark plug on my passenger side cylinder head. It is the last one towards the firewall. I thought I saw that there was a TSB for this, but I am not sure, and if not how in the hell do I fix it. Keep in mind I don't have the...

    Roush vs. Saleen Spoiler

Roush three post all the way. I have one, and I bought from a company called Hillbank Motorsports. Cost was $120 painted and shipped to my door. Great quality, perfect paint, and perfect look. It will take about 8 minutes to change out.

Any Mustang convertible Owners with Subwoofers?

I have had three different systems in my car in the past 6 months. First I had three Audiobahn 10's with a HiFonics BX1505D, and it was loud. Then I blew the 10's and got two Kicker 10" L5s with the same amp and it sounded good, but those only lasted for a couple weeks. I now have a singe...

    help..car dies when stopping!!!

I have had this happening for the past couple months, and just replaced the IAC and it didn't help at all. Here is a stupid question, and I don't mean to hijack the thread, but when you install a new IAC should you disconnect the battery so that it can relearn the idle?

Finally some pictures of the stang!

HotMustang331, thanks for putting the images up like that, I couldn't figure out how to do it. MineralMan, No, there isn't any pinstripe on the hood. Thanks for the compliments fellas, and I do agree it will look alot better with the Roush fascia on.

Finally some pictures of the stang!

Here are the current pics of the car, after some tool backed into me at the bar on St. Patricks day. The Roush stage 3 front fascia is still in the process of being shipped but it should be on by the end of the week. Let me know what you all think...

    Project Eleanor Pics(56k owns you)

That car is sick, very well put together! What kind of wheels are you going to put on it? Some deep dish FR500's would look great.

*cough* *cough* *BARF* Someone actually did it...

How many of the regulars on here, when others are bashing their cars, throw out the "cost of things"? Not too many that I know of. Defending a car is one thing, but when he needs to try and justify the amount of money that was spent, it is a different story. And a very sincere thanks to the...
