My car sounds exactly like yours and I have new heads, cam and intake. Mine does the same thing too, runs for a while and dies on it's own. I don't have a tune on it yet. But I will be getting back to working on it next weekend. I also suspect that I have a vacuum leak somehwere, just not sure...

why not install the filler on the drivers side valve cover of the motor? there seems to be more room.....

I got an edelbrock rpm2 intake and I baught a 70mm tb and the elbow from someone used. I am planning on taking off the EGR when I install the intake, so I was wondering if I still need to buy the egr spacer to get this thing bolted up or can I get by without it?

so spring compressors are not required for this job? I took the passenger side appart yesterday, had a field day separating the nucle from the ball joint, but the bigger hammer theory worked ;) now i have to figure out howvto put hings back together, ...so use a floor jack instead of spring...

i think your power is ok, cuz my stang is a 5-spd and w/ 50k miles on it it dynoed 180hp and 234 tq so i think you're just fine, especialy w/ all those miles.

this whine you're talking about, does it happen when the car is cold and when it warms up is stops to whine, and then when the car is super hot it dies at idle. Man, that may be my problem then. The car starts up ok, but not instantly, it seems to crank at least twice before firing up, but fires...

I don't know about 347, the horror stories I read about it blowing head gaskets cuz the compression gets too hight and oil leaks makes me think a 331 is a better choice. Plus the 347 supposedly isn't very streetable for some reason. For all around stability and reliability 331 seems to be a...
