I have read quite a few posts of people that are thinking about buying an 03/04 cobra and are hesitant because of the complaints they read on message boards.

Seems that 87 percent rate the 03/04 Cobra a 7 out of 10 or better. Half of the remainder of the votes below that are the typical people that would **** if you gave them a one hundred doallar bill instead of two fifties. For these type people, there is no such car manufactured and that is a perfect car.

Yellow Horse I was one of those people. Before I bought mine last month all I did was read about one problem after another from clicking under the hood to IRS problems. But your not going to find a better car for the money. Besides a 03/04 will be under warranty. :D

i dont completely agree. Funny to hear this cause the mechanic that does my work was saying the same thing... that the people having problems were the kind that **** about every little thing.. HE THOUGHT THAT UNTIL HE BOUGHT THE CAR..

his 03 which is the shops guinea pig needed a new drive shaft and a completely new trans. It vibrated bad and wouldnt shift into 5th with a 500 miles or so on the odometer

I guess many of us..including me have given into the fact that you get what you pay for. You are really paying for the engine....not a quality car..

I love my car for the track, but there are things that would be bugging me if I drove it every day. Sqeeling windows, broken power seat, second pair of leaking foglights and an assortment of other strange sounds... poppin in the rear. etc etc My Volvo (pre-ford) with 230,000 miles doesnt have those problems!

My experiences with the car and with the service have made me think hard about whether or not to buy the Ford truck i was thinking about.. Seems like the quality is better in the truck dept...but maybe thats because of the type of people who own/buy trucks? Maybe they arent as picky about quality?

Lets see... My car was made 07/02, I purchased it 08/02. Thus far I've had the following replaced:

    Drive Shaft
    Rear End Assembly
    Hood Latch
    Fog Lamps
    2 Drivers side heads

My car has had more than it's fair share of problems...

    U.M.
