My good friend just bought an o/r X for his '04.

This summer I did an o/r H on my GT by myself and had no troubles with the install. Anything different on the two cars? I am thinking no, but want to make sure we don't forget anything. I have done this about 2 dozen times (for other people) so I'm not clueless; just haven't done this on an 03/04 Cobra yet.

    Thanks.

Pretty much the same on a Cobra as on a GT. As long as you got the right tools there shouldn't be any troubles.

Thanks, UM. I wanted to check ahead of time, as to prevent any "surprises".

Wish I had a video to share, but I don't have a digital camera. :(

The install was a breeze and took us about 2 hours, as we took a few beer breaks.

The sound was worth the effort and the FI 4.6 4valve sounds exquisitely exotic with an off-road X. The piece was from Pypes and the fitment was terrific. The only downside was they did not provide studs for the mid to bolt up to the cat-back. Other manufacturers have in the past, and perhaps this is a new cost cutting trend.

Anyway, just thought I would share. :)
