'04 Disc Pads - Ceramic?

Does anyone know if the factory disc pads are ceramic? Mine make very little brake dust, so I was wondering what type of material is used. I am assuming Ceramic.

I get a ton of brake dust off mine.

i doubt there ceramic, when i had stock pads on i had tones of dust.

Mine was and it was a 02...............

So ceramic is the recommended pad.

ANY good auto parts store can tell you what came stock.

I was wondering the same thing. They have to be, no brake dust whatsoever even after 2 weeks of no washing. My wifes 02 Expedition has semi-met and gets brake dust after a week of driving. Of course it uses a lot more brake pad getting that barge to stop.

I clean my bullitts too often to notice any buildup of brake dust on them.

But i often see a lot of V6's driving around with dirty front wheels and we have the same brakes as they do.
