Well, I am back from vacation and immediately went to pick up a painted intake cover from one of our fellow Mustang junkies, Jim Couture. Jim had bought this for one of his other cars, but never used it. So I bolted it on today and it was the first official mod done to the car. Looks great. I inserted a picture before and after.
My wheels, tires, lowered suspension, exhaust and pullies go on this week. The cold air and programmer won't be delivered until the week after. I am going to have my body guy paint the alumimum tube of my cold air intake the same orange. He is going to have to mix up the paint for the wing and splitter anyway, so I figured it would look pretty nice after seeing this cover.
Hope to see you all this next weekend at the SVTOA show at Bickford Ford, in Snohomish!
By the way, if anyone needs a stock silver intake cover, I know who has one for sale!!
