i ran my '88 gt at the track a couple weeks ago and i ran a 14.8 @ 97 mph...
i'm now getting my syncro's replaced, and i was wondering if it'll make a difference b/c when i ran it at the track, it did not want to shift at all. it doesn't matter to me if it will make the car run faster b/c the syncro's had to be done anyway, but i'm just wondering if it will make the difference. i have just a couple bolt ons...underdrive pulleys, short throw, maf delete, x-pipes, and thats about it.

I think it will probably help just a little in the fact that it should allow you to shift faster but you won't see a significant gain.

When you say maf delete do you mean you swapped to speed density? Your car is an 88, is it a california car? I'm just wondering because mass air systems adapt easier to small mods such as yours.
