took it to the track for the first time. my first time racing a manual. my reaction times were nothing special, but i'm not worried about them. i know i don't have a problem with them, i just wasn't concerned with r/t. 60 fts were bad. i missed second on my first and third runs.

1st 2nd 3rd 4th
60's 2.499 2.337 3.004 2.082
1/4 14.646 13.254 15.331 12.915
MPH 109 114 109 112

i can't hook up at all. i tried warming up the DR, but i was drifting too far. i can't keep it from moving forward. on the 4th run as soon as i left the clutch out, i slammed on the brakes, and that helped alot, but still i started to drift too far forward to hold it long enough. i think i need a line lock, or if u guys have a better way of doing things. i know i can do better, but i need to launch better. not too particularly proud of the numbers, i know i can do better, but hey give me break it was my first time with the car and manual.

line locks?

I've read that people get the tire going and take their left foot off the clutch and put it on the brake and hold it like you did. Line lock is the only other alternative. Seen it done and looks pretty easy to do. I run 2.2s' with a best 2.0 60' times on street tires at 20psi. I would think you could do at least a 1.8 60'.
