Flowood, Ms
Hey guys,
Ok, here's what i got....a balanced early model (66) 289, performer intake, Lunati cam, modified heads, etc etc. The flywheel removed from the car (66, 289, 2V, 3-speed) is a 160 tooth FW. I have searched all the flywheel threads and find only one reference to a 160 tooth flywheel and that question did not receive any responses. I had planned to use a Fidanza aluminum wheel (and purchased a used 157 tooth, 28 oz) but after counting the teeth on the original wheel am not sure if the Fidanza will even work. I find all kinds of references to 157 and 164 tooth flywheels but nothing on the 160. Mustangs Unlimited, Year One and NPD ALL only list 157 and 164 teeth wheels, no 160's. I want to purchase a new steel FW that fits the original bellhousing and T-5 tranny. What flywheel do I need for this engine / tranny combination? Will the Fidanza 157 tooth, 28 oz. wheel (off a 90 GT) work if I chose to use it?

Thaks in advance....
