Love chrome ponies. Saved these a few years ago from a thread on here about Pony's. These might even be 5 lug if I remember correctly.

mavromont was driven by customer interest and presales. With times being tough for a lot of people or if their chinese suppliers shut down its not hard to believe that they are gone.

True, plus their entire product offering was based on a slew of different variants of the same base product. All that means is you've got a lot of different part numbers and a lot of different investments in tooling and processes, and while your overall sales may be decent, the sales for each individual configuration probably sucked and didn't quite justify all the variants from a cost perspective.

I'm getting burned out looking at my FR500's and I think 17" Pony wheels would complement the theme of my car very well.

I found this new website, http://ponyrparts.com and it appears that the wheels can be made available through group buys. This is something I'm going to look into, I'm thinking silver with 8" in the front and 9" out back.

I think your FR500s look great. Realize that any wheel will look boring after a while.

I love your FR500's, but I think the Ponys would look pretty sweet too. My 92 LX has the stock Ponys and I love how they look, but wish they were 17's. Might look into these but a waiting list sounds like a serious PITA to me.
