18" rim guys... what quarter mile times are you guys running on 18's?

So Im thinking of getting rid of my 17" Cobra R's and going with 18" deep dish bullits. Just curious how much the heavier rim and tire combo affected your guy's timeslips.

Also post if your NA or PA when posting your times or experiences.

im happy for now but after this winters motor build ill be going back to 17's with drag radials.

I have chrome 18's on my ride and i can tell you that they kill traction off the line due to the thinner sidewall. I can tell you they slow me down but not by much. Ran a 2001 GT 5spd (stock) on my cold tires and spun through 1st and half of 2nd but stayed door to door. From a 40mph roll i pulled more than a car to about 80, so not too big of a difference, but i also couldve been a better driver than him. I'm confident if my tires were warmed up, i wouldve taken him off the line. 18's slow you down, but in my opinion, they look great on our cars...BTW, good choice on DD Bullitts
